Just finished reading Mazie Baby.
I have a quirky way of choosing the books I read.
While it has long been said, “You cannot tell about a book by its cover”, I am guilty of doing just that & also by its title.
While the cover didn’t especially reach out & grab me, the title caught my attention because “Mazie” was a childhood nick name of my sister.
I usually know within the first few sentences and certainly within the first few pages if the book is one I want to read.
I never put Mazie Baby down between the first word & the last with exception of going to grab a cold Coke.
A great written work. Write on !
Well, you just made my day. Thank you for taking the time to let me know what you thought. Covers are tricky, and this one in particular. My sister designed it, that’s my daughter pretending to be Mazie. My sister died in December so I am loathe to change it even though it could be more genre-appropriate. Sisters…. Am I right? :). I hope your Mazie never had to go through what mine did.
Best,
Julie
