Mazie Baby is on the verge of breaking out onto the virtual shelves! Writing this story has been a roller coaster of emotions. A few of the little details are very real to me. It is a story of abuse, a story of love, a story of redemption. I have known more than one Mazie over the years. The ending wasn’t quite the same for them.
I have been fortunate to have some amazing covers. This one is triple-special. The artist is my systir, Carolyn. We’ve always wanted to collaborate on a book, my words, her art. But life and cancer can really mess things up sometimes. So she decided to give cancer the finger, and create this fantastic cover while undergoing chemotherapy (again), and suffering the finger and toe numbing/tingling/aching side effects. That’s double of the triple specialness. The triple part is that my beautiful baby girl became Mazie for the photo. Two of my most special women represented on the cover of my third novel. A novel I am proud of. A cover I love and admire. I give you, Mazie Baby…

So thrilled to have been able to collaborate! The fact that it’s my favourite book yet? A big bonus…
There is one invisible helper as well, my photo assistant, aka the scarf flipper. Youngest son, Little J.
Love you, Love your baby girl, Love Mazie Baby… xoxo
